Pi Day 5K Race Report

Some races are for running for time and some are for running for pie!

On 3/14, it is about the later.  To celebrate Einsteins birthday and 3.14 Day, Feet Fleet hosts a fun run to benefit the local science council and celebrates with pizza pie, pie and drinks.   The casual race dosen't even have bibs but did have gender specific shirts that had the Pi symbol on them.  Even though it was mid March, it was cold, windy and snowy!  Thankfully I had lots of friends I met up with and we stayed warm, chatted and enjoyed the twilight run... and of course, pie and pizza pie!

The race isn't the cheapest and definitely is not about racing but more about fun, supporting the education of science and eating some pie!
